Reduce Fuel Supply Chain Costs
The cost of fuel and managing its supply chain could represent over 70% of the operating cost of each generator, chiller, compressor or other machine in a fleet.
The advanced fuel monitoring solution from the experts at Telemisis, allows operators of generators, chillers, compressors and other machines to reduce their operating costs and identify fuel theft and possible fraud, which could be costing millions of dollars annually.
Design to be used on all fuel tank configurations, from low capacity day tanks to bulk tanks, the class leading fuel monitoring capabilities of Telemisis SitePro, provides real time visibility of fuel across a fleet of machines.
To monitor remote fuel tanks and machine performance, SiteNode3G (a small, ultra low power, remote telemetry unit) is installed. Each SiteNode3G collects data from sensors installed on each fuel tank and machine; transmitting it back to a central control room or to mobile workers using laptops, tablets or smartphones for analysis.
Once installed, fleet operators are able to take control of their fuel supply chain and costs.
Where machine monitoring is not required, a dedicated solution is available for monitoring fuel levels in storage tanks. To discover more about this dedicated solution, please visit telemisis.com
OPTIMISE FUEL SUPPLY CHAIN
Algorithms within the fuel management module of SitePro, use data received from remote sites to accurately forecast the refuelling date of each tank in the fleet. The system also raises alarms should the fuel reach a low or critically low level.
Fleet operators can also provide their Fuel Contractor with a dedicated system login, where visibility is restricted to fuel status information.
MANAGE INVOICE RECONCILIATION
Historically fueling evidence has been provided by the fuel supplier, based upon meter readings from the bowser at time of delivery. This mechanism only records fuel quantities discharged from the bowser (all of which may or may not enter the tank) and is dependent upon the accuracy of the fuel gauge.
By introducing the remote monitoring capabilities provided by SitePro and SiteNode3G, with its ±1 litre accuracy, it is possible to meticulously reconcile fuel invoices against actual quantities delivered and identify any discrepancies.
Using the fuel monitoring capabilities provided by SitePro, a fleet operator can eliminate any loss due to administrative errors and invoice related fraud.
IDENTIFY FUEL THEFT AND FRAUD
When operating generators, compressors, chillers or other types of machines at remote sites, fuel is at constant risk of theft and fraud. SitePro, the class leading fuel monitoring solution from Telemisis, with its advanced fuel risk management capabilities, provides a wealth of information to streamline and protect the fuel management operation.
Theft and over-consumption detection:
Detect fuel theft events and raise alarms. When combined with machine runtime monitoring, SitePro can also be used to identify over- consumption and leakage of fuel, signifying either an issue with the machine, a fuel leak or a potential fraud or theft event.

Protect a generator or other machine from significant damage and minimise fraud in the supply chain, by detecting if fuel has been contaminated with water (and as a further upgrade option kerosene).
UNAUTHERISED ACCESS DETECTION:
An alarm is raised if unauthorised access to a fuel tank is detected.
Continually monitor the location of a fuel bowser, to ensure fuel is only discharged at the location of a valid fuel tank. If a fuel discharge event is detected outside of a designated zone or zones, an alarm is automatically generated.
